SAXEED.JET

TU Chemnitz and Arabic partner universities collaborated from 2017 to 2021 to institutionalize entrepreneurship activities, offering support centers, fostering a positive entrepreneurial mindset, and facilitating innovation and start-up opportunities for researchers and students in Jordan, Tunisia, and Germany.

SAXEED.Social+

This project, building on the Saxeed.JET initiative, aims to deepen cooperation with Jordanian universities through a Summer School in Chemnitz, developing new teaching materials on 'Social Entrepreneurship,' organizing a hackathon in Jordan focused on implementing solutions to social and environmental issues, and ensuring ongoing optimization.

SAXEED.Fit4Market

The SAXEED.Fit4Market project, spanning from 2021 to 2024, focuses on institutionalizing activities supporting industrial collaboration, entrepreneurship, innovation, and technology transfer in the automotive sector at North African partner universities. Collaborating with TU Chemnitz, it involves establishing industry links, supporting automotive entrepreneurs, fostering a positive entrepreneurial mindset, and organizing events like hackathons. The project aims to create an Automotive Industry Center at USMBA and UAE while facilitating coaching procedures and industry connections in Morocco and Germany.

SAXEED.ECO

The SAXEED.ECO project, spanning from 2022 to 2025, aims to strengthen existing collaborations and establish new networks between TU Chemnitz and partner universities. Focused on developing environmentally friendly solutions for energy, water, and resource scarcity, as well as addressing high unemployment rates, it involves establishing 'Sustainability Labs' at partner universities in Jordan and Algeria. These labs enable students to develop, test, and implement project ideas with incubator support, alongside offering technical courses such as solar systems installation and maintenance as e-learning options even post-project.
